Psalm 107:38-40

³⁸He blesses them, and they multiply greatly;^(A)
he does not let their livestock decrease.^(B)

³⁹When they are diminished and are humbled
by cruel oppression and sorrow,^(C)
⁴⁰he pours contempt on nobles^(D)
and makes them wander in a trackless wasteland.^(E)
